“I spent 10 years in the Army, my husband spent 23 and a half years in the Army. The chief end of business is profit but we’re both in this for a greater reason. We’re passionate about soldiers.”

Katie Bigelow, President; Forbes interview

Mettle

Mettle Ops is named in honor of Bret Bigelow. Bret contracted food poisoning before he was born and barely survived. Bret lived six years, enduring countless medical procedures. His miracle was his unwavering tenacity; he smiled when pain was unbearable, and faced uncertainty with honor and strength.

We remember a boy who had greater mettle than any other person we have known. His memory drives us to do better every day.
