Mettle Ops has a proven track record in delivering innovative solutions for complex defense challenges. Our expertise spans from advanced engineering and prototyping to program management and supply chain optimization.
47QRAA18D00C5: The goal of this effort was to provide an engineering certified finite element analysis on a RS 25 Scan Head rotating mirror for the USFS. Performed a finite element analysis on a rotating triangular mirror, which is a part within a line scanner, to determine operating and maximum load case based on replacing a steel rotating mirror part with a lighter material. Also included in the report a simplified narrative of operational guidance regarding the new lightweight parts useful lifespan, and stated all known limitations and or other qualifying factors and assumptions for the safe operational integrity of the new part.

Mettle Ops has been recognized by DoD Ordnance Technology Consortium (DOTC) in their ability to manufacture both large and small projectiles. Mettle Ops is currently working with Ground Vehicle Systems Center (formally TARDEC) on the following contracts.

W15QKN1891008 DOTC-19-01-INIT0209: The objective of this initiative is to identify, analyze, procure, test, evaluate, optimize, and/or transition prototype advanced armor, blast mitigation technologies, and lightweight structural components to achieve advanced active blast defeat and meet armor requirements at a lower weight and provide enhanced protection against a wide variety of warheads and threats. These prototypes will be both virtual and physical, for tracked and wheeled ground vehicles, specifically, PdM Vehicle Protective System (VPS) Traunches and Ground Vehicle Holistic Defense (GVHD) prototype vehicles. Recent priority shifts from higher level Army leadership have required additional focus to be place on the GVHD prototype vehicle and will necessitate further prototype iterations to address the needs and requirements of the system.
