Madison Heights, MI –U.S. Army Combat Capability Development Center Ground Vehicle Systems Center (CCDC GVSC), formerly known as TARDEC, awarded a $3 Million Dollar contract to Mettle Ops in conjunction with Automation Alley and MCM Learning.

The objective of this project is to verify the unique components in the Joint Assault Bridge (JAB) launcher on the Abrams A1M1 tank vehicle. The unique components need to be validated to ensure readiness for future competitive procurement opportunities. The JAB project will start with the inspection of the vehicle, the disassembling of the JAB unique components, the comparing to current data packages, the validating and updating data packages as necessary, and the reassembling of the vehicle.

Over the last year, Mettle Ops has acquired a research and development facility, over doubled the team, and won several impactful contracts. This opportunity allows Mettle Ops to continue to support the Warfighter and ensure they have the best military equipment American Patriots can design.

“We are proud to work alongside Automation Alley and MCM Learning in this endeavor,” said Katie Bigelow, Founder of Mettle Ops. “We are process oriented, NIST 800-171 compliant, and AS9100 Certified. We are prepared to complete this contract and any future contracts with the same grit, transparency, and tenacity we are known for. Our Team has grown and expanded significantly in the last year, and we are excited to bring their expertise to this project.”
