Madison Heights, MI – U.S. Army Combat Capability Development Center Ground Vehicle Systems Center (DEVCOM GVSC), formerly known as TARDEC, awarded a $23 Million Dollar contract to Mettle Ops. The contract through the National Security Technology Accelerator (NSTXL) Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) is a four-year deal beginning in November 2021 and will continue through September 2025.
The objective of the Complex Threat Attack Protection (CTAP) prototype project is to develop, integrate, demonstrate, and advance prototyping capabilities that will improve and enhance the Army's ground vehicle platforms and systems capabilities. The CTAP prototype projects will address various critical vehicle components such as vehicle structure, technology, armor, and interior protection to include seats, seatbelts, airbags, and signature management.
